We can decorate almost any location where you have permission, including hotels, Airbnbs, private homes, and select event spaces.

How do I book an experience?
Start by submitting an Inquiry Form with your preferred date, location, and package. Once we confirm availability, we’ll finalize the details and send an invoice to secure your booking.
I’ve never planned something like this before — will you help me?
Absolutely. Many of our clients are planning a surprise for the first time. We’ll guide you through the process, help you choose the right experience, and make sure everything comes together smoothly. Our goal is to make the planning feel easy and stress-free so you can focus on the moment.
What if I’m not sure what my partner would like?
That’s completely normal. Many clients come to us with only a general idea of the occasion. We can help guide you toward the right experience, color palette, and add-ons so everything feels thoughtful and personalized. You don’t need to have every detail figured out — that’s what we’re here for.
Will my partner know about the surprise beforehand?
Not unless you want them to. Most clients coordinate with us privately so the experience remains a complete surprise until your partner walks into the room.
Is this experience really worth it?
We hear this question often — and the reaction is usually the same after the surprise happens. Clients tell us the moment their partner walks in and sees the transformation makes it completely worth it. The reaction, the photos, and the memory of the experience become something they talk about for years. Our goal is to create a moment that feels intentional, elevated, and unforgettable.
Do you book the hotel or Airbnb for us?
No — clients book their own hotel or Airbnb accommodations. Once your reservation is confirmed, we coordinate with you to schedule décor setup so everything is ready for the surprise.
Do I need to check into the hotel before the setup?
Yes. Most hotels require the guest to check in first before allowing vendors access to the room. Once you check in, simply let the front desk know Dionysus Designs will be decorating the room.
How do you access Airbnb properties?
For Airbnbs we typically enter using a lockbox or key code provided by the host.
How long does setup take?
Setup typically takes 1.5 to 4 hours, depending on the experience and custom elements involved. We carefully schedule our arrival so everything is ready before your planned surprise.
Do we get to keep the decorations?
Many decorative elements such as balloons and florals are yours to enjoy. Certain items such as LED candles or specialty décor pieces may be rental items and will be collected afterward.
Do we need to clean up the decorations?
Hotels and Airbnbs may charge cleaning fees if excessive décor is left behind. To make things easier, some experiences include a cleanup kit, and next-day cleanup can also be arranged for select setups.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking 2–3 weeks in advance to ensure availability. However, we may occasionally accommodate last-minute requests depending on our schedule.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. A 50% retainer is required to secure your date. The remaining balance is due 48 hours before your experience.
